Delivery and Transport

How your vault gets to you, and what it costs.

We deliver anywhere in New Mexico with our own trucks and crews — no third-party freight brokers, no drop-and-go. Prices below are good through December 31, 2026. If you would rather collect it yourself, you can.

What delivery costs

  • Albuquerque metro — $250. Anywhere within 25 miles of our showroom at 5517 Central Ave NE.
  • Santa Fe — $480.
  • Everywhere else in New Mexico — $4 per mile round trip, with a $200 minimum.
  • Unpaved or rough access — add $200.
  • Long carry — $250. If the panels have to be hand-carried more than 50 feet, or through a gate.
  • Picking it up yourself — $75 loading fee.

Gallup-area deliveries are calculated from our Gallup location at 311 US Highway 491. If several units go out on the same load, you pay one delivery fee, not one per unit. The quote builder works out your exact cost from your address, and every price is also listed on the Pricing page.

Before we deliver, please make sure

  • A truck and trailer can reach the drop point
  • The gate or access route is at least 24 inches wide and clear
  • Someone 18 or older is on site
  • The ground where the vault will sit is reasonably level

We are not responsible for damage to driveways, sidewalks, curbs, lawns, irrigation, or septic systems along the route we are directed to use. If our truck becomes stuck on your property, recovery costs are yours.

If we arrive and the site is not accessible as described, you can take delivery at the nearest accessible spot at no extra charge, or we can reschedule for a redelivery fee equal to your original delivery fee.

Delivery day

Your vault arrives flat-packed on a truck — steel panels on a pallet, not a finished box. That is what lets us get it into places a shipping container could never reach.

If you bought installation, our crew unloads the panels, carries them to the spot, and builds the vault where it is going to sit. Two people assemble most vaults in 30 to 60 minutes on level ground. If you are assembling it yourself, we unload the pallet where you direct us and hand you the hardware kit and the illustrated manual.

Nothing has to be craned over a house. If you have a standard 24-inch gate, the panels go through it.

Picking it up yourself

Your vault is ready for pick-up 2 to 3 days after you order. Bring a flatbed or a trailer rated for the flat-packed weight of your vault — about 100 lbs per foot of length, so roughly 1,000 lbs for a 10 ft, 1,900 lbs for a 19 ft. Our crew loads it with a forklift. The loading fee is $75. Bring your own straps.

Lead times

  • Pick-up — ready in 2 to 3 days.
  • Delivery and installation — within 14 days, usually sooner.
  • Office units — these are stocked in Gallup. Delivery to Albuquerque may take longer than 14 days.

Rescheduling and redelivery

Tell us as early as you can and we will move your date at no charge. If we have already loaded and dispatched, or we arrive to a site that is not accessible as described and you choose to reschedule rather than take delivery at the nearest accessible spot, the redelivery fee is equal to your original delivery fee.

Outside New Mexico

Our own crews cover New Mexico. For anywhere outside the state, call us at (505) 382-6964. The vault ships flat-packed on a pallet, which makes freight practical, but we price each one individually rather than publishing a number we cannot stand behind.

Questions about your site?

Send us photos of your access route before you order and we will confirm the delivery and installation price against what we can actually see. Call (505) 382-6964, or build your quote and we will follow up.
