No contractors. No crane access. No site prep. My Yard Vault units arrive flat, move through any standard gate, and assemble on-site with basic tools.
We designed this process to remove every friction point that makes traditional storage complicated. No specialists required. No access restrictions. No waiting.
Tell us what you need and where it needs to go. Residential backyard, commercial job site, retail location, we’ll ask the right questions and recommend the right configuration. Most quote requests are answered within one business day.

Unlike traditional storage structures, My Yard Vault units are engineered to ship as flat panels. No oversized freight. No special delivery vehicle requirements. Panels are compact enough to be transported in a standard truck or trailer.
Our crew arrives on a flatbed truck and a trailer with your vault loaded flat-stacked. (Or you can arrange pickup at our Gallup location.) No semi-truck, no crane.”

This is the step that surprises most people. Because the panels are flat and manageable, they move through standard backyard gates, along side yards, and into tight access areas that would stop a shipping container cold. No path widening. No fence removal. No access ramp construction.

Assembly is designed to be completed by a small crew – typically two to three people – using standard hand tools. No welding. No specialist tradespeople. No heavy machinery on-site. The system is engineered for straightforward, repeatable assembly with clear panel sequencing.

Once assembled, your unit is immediately operational. Secure the locking system, load your gear, and you’re done. There’s no cure time, no inspection period, no waiting for anything to dry or set.

If your needs change — you move homes, a project wraps up, a business relocates — your unit doesn’t stay behind. Disassembly follows the same process in reverse. Panels pack flat, transport easily, and reassemble at the next location. Most customers complete a full disassembly and reassembly in under two hours.

Most residential and commercial sites are ready as-is. Here’s what we recommend having in place before delivery day.

Permit requirements vary by municipality and property type. In most residential cases, portable storage structures that are not permanently anchored do not require a building permit — but we recommend checking with your local authority before installation. We’re happy to help you understand what applies to your situation.
Any reasonably level surface works — concrete, pavers, compacted gravel, or level ground. The unit does not require a concrete slab or permanent foundation.
Assembly is designed for 2–3 people. One person can manage parts of it, but panel handling and alignment is significantly easier with a second set of hands. We recommend having at least two people available.
Most units assemble in approximately one hour with two people. Larger units (16′ and 19′) may take closer to 90 minutes. First-time assemblers typically take a little longer — the second time is noticeably faster.
Disassembly follows the same steps in reverse. Panels pack flat and transport in a standard truck or trailer. Most customers complete a full relocation in under two hours.
Yes. The units are built from galvanized steel with a heavy-duty T-handle locking system. They are significantly more tamper-resistant than standard garden sheds and comparable in security to purpose-built on-site storage containers.
Yes. Interior shelving, locking systems, pipe racks, and other accessories can be added at any time. You don’t need to order everything upfront — the system is modular by design.
You don’t need everything figured out before reaching out. Tell us where the unit’s going and roughly what you need to store. We’ll handle the rest, size recommendation, delivery, install.
